Stanford International Bank is now a member of the Bankers' Association for Finance and Trade.
The Banker's Association for Finance and Trade (www.baft.org) is a financial trade association. BAFT members represent a broad range of internationally active financial institutions and companies providing several important services to the global financial community. The organization is actively involved in international trade and finance, including legislative and regulatory issues. Because of its global focus and membership, BAFT plays a significant role in expanding markets worldwide, shaping public policy and promoting practices to ensure the safety and soundness of the international financial system.
SIB President Juan Rodriguez-Tolentino is pleased with the BAFT association, as well as the Bank's resulting affiliate membership with the American Banking Association (ABA) through BAFT. Both represent a large step forward for SIB as a major player in the global financial community.
